Really nice hotel, comfortable and quiet, right in the middle of Dulverton. My en-suite room was very quiet even though it was at the front, overlooking the road which is a cul-de-sac. Warm and comfortable. Friendly staff and great full English breakfast. Great location for exploring Exmoor, and all of Dulverton's restaurants and bars within a couple of hundred yards. Well stocked bar. Recommended.

Comfortable one night stay, clean room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful Landlady. Nearby parking at reduced rate.

We had a lovely one night stay just before Christmas. The managing team were very welcoming, check in was easy, we arrived quite late, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up well for the day

Friendly staff, very quiet hotel in a great location. Breakfast was excellent.
Parking is limited outside but there is a car park 2 minutes away.
We would stay again.

Lovely stay. Classic old school Exmoor Inn hotel. Real character to the venue. Extremely helpful and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean sheets and towels. Lashings of hot water and good shower and bath. Impressive cooked breakfast. An inside room for our two bicycles overnight. We ate at the local fish and chip shop and had a pint at Woods wine bar and one at The Bridge inn. Dulverton is full of character. Will return to the Lion if we can next year when the weather may be better for cycling (from and back to Taunton)

A very warm and hospitable welcome from the manager and his son at this charming old-fashioned inn in delightful Dulverton. A good-sized room with a very comfortable bed and clean ensuite bathroom. Excellent cooked breakfast. Highly recommended.

I stay at the Lion every year for my annual Shooting trip to Devon. I always get a very warm welcome a the team there are most helpful. Excellent breakfast too!

Excellent. This is a great hotel. I can recommend it highly. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff. A great place to stay and enjoy Exmoor.

Well run family hotel, the hosts looked after us very well. Great selection of drinks at the bar. Very well cooked English breakfast.

Wonderful old hotel with lots of atmosphere and a warm and welcoming environment.Excellent breakfasts and a delicious evening meal ( we had our other evening meals at nearby venues)
